He performed my hernia operation successfully. From my initial consultation to my final consultation after my operation, he was very understanding, caring and supportive. He explained everything clearly from the start and throughout the process checked everything throughly and always with a caring attitude. I highly recommend this doctor and I cannot praise him enough for his work. Please keep this high standard of work up.

NHS were unable to offer immediate treatment until my private health care kicked in. My doctor arrived very quickly and took control of my care in an authoritative way reassuring me and making the lazy NHS staff look after me as they should have been doing for the last 5 hours or so. I dont think there is anything better my doctor could do, it is just a shame the NHS seemed unable to provide an equal level of service

We called early in the morning in an emergency situation, i.e. the patient was in great pain. Mr Deguara went out of his way to arrange for immediate attention - he arranged for us to get to a hospital where he could operate the same day. He and his team were in constant contact with me by phone and email both leading up to the operation and in the days after the operation. Mr Deguara explained all technical aspects of the operation before and after the event. He took time to answer any questions we had. He called me as promised, immediately after the operation to explain how it had gone. As soon as he received any information e.g. blood test results he updated me. All round an excellent service.

I was recently referred to Mr. Deguara for an urgent laparoscopic biopsy. Naturally I was very nervous and apprehensive about the procedure but as soon as I met Mr. Deguara he put me at ease and my fears subsided. He spent time clearly explaining to me what the operation would involve and the complications that may occur. He answered all my questions fully. Within two days I was in theatre, relaxed and fully trusting in my surgeon and his team. The operation was carried out without complications and my scars are almost gone. I would highly recommend Mr. Deguara - he is a extremely nice person and a very capable and talented surgeon. He is someone you can talk to honestly and feel confident in his judgement. I consider myself very lucky to have been referred to him and have only good memories of what had been a worrying time.
